How about some STS perspective (anthropology, sociology, philosophy of scientific knowledge and technological innovation) to capture the scientific and technological dimensions of fascism today? And the fascist dimensions of science and technology today? The “Science, Technology, Fascism” seminar is organized and hosted by Fabian Muniesa at the Centre de Sociologie de l’Innovation (CSI), Mines Paris–PSL. It takes the form of a reading and reflection workshop, from January to May 2026 (in French). An introductory session will be followed by thematic sessions, each dealing with one specific, current scientific and technological problem (eugenics, race, weapons, surveillance, computer science, finance, internet, sexuality, medicine, education, intelligence, nutrition, climate, geoengineering, etc.). Each session will build on the discussion of a series of readings

Participation requires commitment to assiduous attendance.
The seminar takes place twice a month, on Friday morning (10:00 – 12:00), at Mines Paris–PSL, 60 boulevard Saint-Michel, 75006 Paris (or online if needed).
