My postdoctoral research, entitled ‘Counting to Zero. Debates surrounding net zero accounting in climate policies’, aims to investigate debates surrounding the accounting of the land sector in achieving climate goals, particularly carbon neutrality. This project is funded by the TT1.5 Foundation and co-supervised by Béatrice Cointe (CSI) and Pierre Friedlingstein (LMD, ENS).
My research lies more generally at the intersection of science and technology studies (STS) and environmental sociology. My thesis, defended in June 2025, focused on the debates surrounding soil carbon sequestration, analyzing the reconfigurations of soil sciences in the face of climate change. It examined the climatization of an earth science, its drivers and its limitations, as part of a broader reflection on the transformations of contemporary sciences. It was supervised by Céline Granjou and Hélène Guillemot as part of the ANR POSCA project.
