Opening of the day
”Une journée avec Bruno Latour” opened with an address by Jérôme Denis, Professor at Mines Paris – PSL and Director of the CSI since December 1, 2023.
“It is not a rewinding of the past that we are proposing, nor even an attempt to draw the coherent contours of what would be a Latourian jurisprudence. Rather, it is a walk we are going to take, along paths that are sometimes a little forgotten, a little overgrown, but which are still practicable and which we will reactivate by walking them again. We are fortunate, in this walking assembly we are forming today, to welcome longstanding friends, those from the early adventures of the STS, who will rub shoulders with the youngest – PhD students, young doctors – and the moderately young, whom I will let you recognize yourself!”
