A book by Liliana Doganova published by Les Presses des Mines. Open innovation requires constant exchanges between science and the market, and research-based start-ups are a prime vehicle for this. While the creation of these “start-ups” based on scientific research has been strongly encouraged by public policy over the last ten years, little is known about the effects they have on their markets.
